Go Travel Slimline Power Bank
Mobile power banks are all the rage, and I can never have enough. They are great to keep them in each briefcase, in your car, or even on the sofa to charge devices while relaxing or watching TV.
The Go Travel Slim Power Bank has something special about it though since it is as small and thin as a credit card. That’s my biggest beef when taking mobile chargers places since they can be a bit bulky, but this is thin enough to fit into your pocket without it being too obtrusive. It can even fit into someone’s wallet.
It comes in either blue or pink and retails for about $20. Some chargers are more expensive, but this small unit is designed to power up smartphones or mobile devices with up to 2300mAh. Within one and a half hours, a smartphone would be completely charged. It only takes three hours to charge up the power bank again.
This compact charger is powered by a lithium ion battery, and it can get slightly warm when charging a device. It is not hot enough to be uncomfortable in someone’s pocket though. For those that have smartphone cases that can hold a credit card or driver’s license, this charger can easily fit snugly inside.
It is important to note that when passing through a metal detector, this power bank will set it off so don’t forget to remove it from your wallet when at the airport. Even if you keep it in your wallet, it is not too bulky meaning you can sit on it (that is if you keep your wallet in your back pocket) and still be comfortable.
