If you’re traveling with a little one, you need to have heard of Covered Goods. Their multi-use nursing covers are stylish, comfortable, useful and really do serve a ton of purposes. The first thing you think when you see one of these covers is that…it’s an infinity scarf. They’re just as stylish, and yes, they can be worn as one. In fact, it’s the primary way we use ours, and for nursing moms, wearing the cover as a scarf while traveling means its super easy to access when you need it, while looking great in the process.

Beyond use as a fashion accessory, a Covered Goods cover finds its purpose as a nursing cover. The soft cotton is stretchy, and the cover expands to give generous coverage of mom and baby while nursing in any public place. Power to the moms! Additionally, it’s big and stretchy enough to be used as a car seat cover, keeping your baby shaded and cool, and as a shopping cart cover, covering the seat to keep germs away. My only small nitpick is with this function actually, as I don’t know how I feel about the cover touching dirty shopping carts then being repurposed as a scarf or nursing cover that my baby would touch, taste, etc. That said, it can certainly be a good emergency use…covering a seat that’s dirty then getting tossed in the wash (the cover is completely machine washable).

There are many patterns and colors to choose from (my favorite is the bo-ho elephant), and at $34, I suggest picking up a few. The neckline is cut to be very flexible, so you can peek at the baby as needed, and can be worn down under one arm while nursing if desired. The cover packs down very small if you want to stash it in a bag or backpack, but while worn as a scarf, I guarantee no one will know you’re ‘wearing’ your nursing cover. Win-win!
