In the box, you can find the Comply Foam Tips and Jabra EarGels in 3 sizes each, a protective bag for the ear buds and the rubber USB cable for charging and data transfer from the ear buds to your device.
Data Collection:
Jabra Sport Life App is a personal trainer in one that pairs seamlessly with your headphones. It took me about 2 minutes to setup my account and pair the Jabra Sport Pulse ear buds to my phone.
The Jabra Sport Life App has the capability to track, evaluate and increase your training outcomes with in-ear coaching, heart rate monitor within the ear bud, and live training information read out on your phone.
I am not a fan of wearing training watches or Fitbits while I work out so these ear buds have decreased my need for more equipment.
I love that I can press the sports button located on the Jabra Sports Pulse ear bud and hear the read out of my work out without having to fumble with a phone. The Bluetooth wireless technology has a range of up to 10m so you can easily keep your phone in a backpack, pocket, locker, etc.
Compared to my chest strap, the heart rate monitor is quite accurate and I was happy with the results.
Sizing:
I hesitated to try these at first because I feared the size of the ear bud. Apple ear buds always fall out and my ear ache after use, and other brands of Bluetooth headphones are way too big for my head.
I mean, come on! Not all of us are power lifter and weigh 250+ pounds!
I can read the ‘B’ off those headphone from across the gym. And, as a side note, with my name already being Leah, I don’t need to look like I have cinnamon buns on the sides on my head.
These little ear buds fit snuggly and most importantly, comfortably within my ears. The extra sizes of the foam tips help each individual to fit the headphone to their own anatomy. So, let’s give a fashion forward shout out to Jabra!
Sound:
It’s all about the bass for me as I like to work out to some good ol’ gangster rap. With my regulators mounted up, I can cruise along on my runs or during my lifting days with full confidence.
And, if need be, I can take a call right from the headphones using the Bluetooth software.
The software also provides a voice guidance feature that assists with read outs, pairing and information about the battery status. I only wish I could change the voice to Snoop Dog. But, the preprogrammed voice isn’t annoying so I’ll keep it activated.
Battery Life:
That rubber USB cord that comes in the box? Yeah, you’ll want to keep that handy.
The battery life isn’t what I would want it to be. For me, I remember to plug in my headphones about once a week.
Battery life is approximately 5 hours of active time and 10 days of standby time. This all depends on if you are taking phone calls which drains the system faster.
Warranty:
When you register your device with the Jabra Sport Life App you get 3 YEARS of warranty on your headphones. For me, headphones are like hairdressers, once you find a good one, you can never, ever, ever break up.
With all the well thought out options these Jabra Sport Pulse ear buds provide, they end up being my motivation to work out to see how I can improve my performance since the last fitness test.

I would easily give these Jabra Sport Pulse ear buds a 4.5/5 stars. As previously discussed, it would be 5/5 if I could have Snoop in my ear! Perhaps they could even work with Snoop and Martha Stewart for a Jabra inspired meal plan.
