I must admit that I am not a huge outdoors person, but I do spend a lot of time traipsing around al fresco for work going from meeting to meeting.
That’s why Mission Active’s collection of Performance ware interested me, especially the lightweight scarf.

The Performance Scarf has a soft, thermal fleece surface and is great for those looking to work out outdoors or those who want a simple scarf that does not get soaked in the rain or snow.
Even sweat quickly evaporates thanks to the kind of specialized material that is used. What was especially notable about it is the pull through loop that lets the scarf stay easily in place even in windy conditions.
It is extremely lightweight as well. One thing that always gets me when wearing a scarf is the immediate shock of entering a warm building after being in cold weather outside. Other people (especially in Europe) seem to have no problem, but I overheat in seconds and immediately start to sweat. This scarf is very light and did not feel so heavy against my skin.
The scarf does not wrinkle at all, which means it can be bunched up in a coat pocket or at the bottom of your briefcase without worrying how it will look when it is time to wear it again. It is squishy enough to fit into outer suitcase pockets, too.
The only thing that I wish Mission offered were a few more colorful styles because the scarf only comes in monochrome black, plum, teal, or grey.

There’s also an M logo in the bottom corner, but that can be covered up (by wearing the scarf upside down) for those that don’t want to self-advertise. The scarf retails for under $20 on the Mission website or on Amazon.
