LOWA Aerox GTX® Surround for men and women are an amazing, versatile shoe. We have had these shoes for about 3 months and they are constantly being worn on our adventures.

I am always looking for a shoe that can do it all. With a crazy work/family/friend/event planning life, I need a shoe that can go on a quick run or hike a mountain, sometimes all in one day.
The LOWA Aerox GTX® Surround Ws is a beautiful lightweight shoe. The slip on and go style quick lace system allows you to hit the trails quickly and the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® keeps your feet dry even in the ugliest of puddles.
LOWA has always made very stable shoes and this is no exception.
The MONOWRAP® frame securely encompasses your feet and ensures injuries are not part of your day. MONOWRAP® is a more narrow foot base so be aware if you usually require a wide shoe.

The men’s version of the LOWA Aerox GTX® Lo Surround is a handsome shoe with the same great build out as the women’s version. They weigh in a little heavier at 1.71 lb compared to the 1.4 lb of the women’s.
The men’s version comes with a slightly different print on the GORE-TEX® SURROUND®.
The grip available on both the men’s and Women’s version of the LOWA Aerox GTX® Surround deserves 5 stars. Only over the most rain soak granite did I slip in my shoes.
And, honestly, who wouldn’t in those conditions. They handle the trail or the city like a boss and your feet deserve to be pampered in them.
Available in some great colors! I recommend you size down 1/2 size on the women’s shoe but the men’s runs true to size.
The price point is higher than most outdoor athletic shoes at about $220 but these shoes will be with you for a lot of adventures and are worth every penny.
