Year-Round Warmth, Cotopaxi’s Abrazo Fleece Half-Zip Jacket for Women

Every frequent flyer should have a tried-and-true fleece (or two) in their travel wardrobe. While it’s easy to think of fleece as a winter essential, chilly airplane flights are a year-round occurrence for me, so I always seem to have one in my carry-on bag.
The newest addition to my collection is the Women's Abrazo Fleece Half-Zip Jacket by Cotopaxi . Made with 100% recycled fleece, the shell is comprised of 100% recycled polyester; the chest pocket is 85% nylon and 15% spandex.
Let’s Talk About Pockets
It has three pockets. Three!
The chest pocket, which for some reason unknown to me seems to be a rarity in women’s fleece designs, is ideal for holding keys, lipstick, hair ties, or even a phone. The lower front pockets feature a pass-through design that I’ve appreciated on cool morning walks.
While the outside of the fleece is very soft, the jacket does not have the expected brushed-fleece feeling on the inside. It’s more of what I would describe as a cross-hatched weave. I didn’t find the interior material uncomfortable, but it’s certainly something to be aware of.

I throw the fleece in the washing machine without much thought. Care instructions recommend a cold wash with like colors and tumbling dry on low heat. So far, no issues with shrinking or pilling.
