2017 Best All Natural Mosquito Repellent- PARA’KITO – A Quick Review

2017 Best All Natural Mosquito Repellent- PARA’KITO

If you spend a lot of time on the water or in the woods like we do, you know the struggle is real when it comes to mosquitoes and keeping them away. PARA’KITO is an all-natural mosquito repellent that utilizes essential oils.

PARA’KITO has it all. Creative and family friendly wrist bands that are comfortable enough to wear for the length of the essential oil pellet, which is 15 days and are waterproof! Not into bracelets? They have a roll on or a clip-on option!

Sport Band to the Rescue

My absolute favorite of the PARA’KITO mosquito repellent line is their Sport Edition band. During the summers, many of my running and hiking miles are in the woods of the Pacific Northwest and they are filled with little flying vampires… you many know them as mosquitos.

The adjustable band can be worn on either your ankle or wrist, is reflective and lightweight. Win, win! In addition to the athletically approved features, you can include your Identification information on the band to ensure additional safety while out and about.

Family Friendly designs that will make everyone happy!

Family Friendly

One major complaint from our kids and their friends is that the mosquito spray stings their skin, especially if they are sunburned and smells ‘disgusting’. I must agree there.

The pellets in PARA’KITO’s kid bands have a slight sent that is calming. Comprised of peppermint, clove, rosemary and citronella oils, no one can complain about a ‘disgusting’ smell.

The kid band comes in patterns and colors that will appease even the pickiest of fashionistas (ages 3-7)!

The soft band can be worn on their wrist or ankle like the sport band and comes with all the necessary features for a bite free vacation: waterproof, identification label and great for all climate zones. Each band includes two pellets for 30 days of repellent.

Have a babe who is under the age of 3? Grab a refillable clip and attach it to your stroller, diaper bag, hiking pack and protect the littlest ones from West Nile as well. With all options being DEET free, you can’t go wrong with PARA’KITO.

Travel Friendly

We love bringing these with on vacation because you can easily throw the PARA’KITO mosquito repellent bands in your carry on or luggage and never worry about liquid filled bottles leaking all over your clothes or having to leave bottles behind at security because you can’t take them on the plane.

PARA’KITO is available online at their site or on Amazon as well. Safe travels!

Um, nowhere in this review does it say whether the reviewer found the bands effective against bites. Only that she liked the design and the smell!
