Finding the right backpack to fit my needs can be a daunting task. I am constantly on the go, running from meeting to meeting and traveling for business. When I am in the market for a new backpack, I am on the hunt for a few things: functionality, practicality, and comfort.
It needs to be lightweight, spacious but also slender enough for stowing, extremely durable, and convenient for quick access to documents or boarding passes.
After using The Lander TIMP 20 Liter Backpack for a few weeks, I can honestly say that not only did it meet my primary needs but far exceeds my expectations in a daily backpack.
The TIMP 20 Liter was designed to be lightweight, convenient, and provides the ideal balance for business or exploration. The backpack is made with weather resistant rip-stop material to protect it from tearing and water damage (or coffee in my instance). The TIMP 20 Liter has two small reflective strips located on the front of the backpack for quick location in the dark- great for evening flights.
There are six webbed loops on the front of the backpack for attaching accessories. The shell of the Lander Backpack is very sleek, black in color and the perfect look in a professional environment while still remaining stylish for urban living.
The TIMP 20 Liter Backpack has mesh padded shoulder straps for comfort and to prevent heat from being trapped underneath the straps which from my experience can cause awful chaffing.
The adjustable straps were designed very well and will not adjust themselves depending on how much weight is in the bag.
Like the shoulder straps, the entire back of the pack is constructed with breathable, sweat wicking mesh.
The only exterior pocket on the TIMP 20 Liter Backpack is located on the rear; I really like the hidden pocket, it works great for your wallet, boarding pass or accessories like memory cards, pens etc.
The interior is very impressive as well. On the inside wall there is a deep, padded, 13” wide by 16” tall pocket- perfect for your laptop.
On the outside of the laptop pocket there are three bonus sleeves; one big enough for a tablet (IPad mini or Kindle would work best), one designed for a pen and the other is large enough for any phone.
There is an additional 13” wide by 8” deep pocket on the front panel. However, it is not padded so I typically use this pocket for any books that I carry with me, important mail or documents that I will need to access that day.
The rest of the interior is a large open space great for chargers, notebooks, binders, shoes, etc. I can appreciate this space because it allows me to pack my gym clothes in my backpack instead of hauling two separate bags each day.
I really enjoy how sleek and professional the Lander TIMP 20 Liter Backpack is. My favorite characteristic is the water resistant rip-stop front panel. I have not found many backpacks that have this feature yet it is imperative that water cannot access my electronics or important documents.
Not to mention, the rip-stop front panel makes the bag incredibly durable. There are four handles (one on each side) to haul the backpack whichever way suits you. The Lander TIMP 20 Liter Backpack is highly functional, practical and a very comfortable pack for everyday use.
