GSI Outdoors camping makes life very easy when you are out of town and off the trail. We have reviewed and field tested many GSI Outdoors items and have picked out our three favorites for 2018. We have chosen the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Cup, Santoku Knife Set and the Glacier Stainless 1.1L Boiler.
Weighing in at only 2 ounces, the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Cup is incredibly lightweight and packs down easily with the collapsible handles. The handles are comfortable when the cup is filled with liquid and can easily be leashed to a backpack via the handles. This cup can take a beating as well. Unknowingly, our kids used it to collect rocks while we were setting up camp. The Bugaboo cup came away with little damage.
Graduations on the cup can easily be read outside of the cup as well as looking into it. One con is the cup can become VERY hot when warmer liquids are poured in. Be sure to use a sleeve or gloved hand and extra care with the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Cup.
The colors are nice and vibrant! Making any meal or drink look appetizing… even if it may be nuts and berries in the back country!

Glacier 1.1L Boiler
GSI Outdoors has created a rustproof, ultralite boiler weighing in at only 10.1 ounces. Large enough to provide integrated nesting for 110 g/230 g isoButane Fuel Cartridges and stoves. Like the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Cup, there are easy to read graduations. Also, like the aluminum Bugaboo, the steel construction of the Glacier Stainless 1.1 L Boiler allows it to become very hot when cooking with it. Exercise caution.
The handle folds onto the boiler for compact packing and secures the lid to the boiler. With the handle locked into place, the boiler is easily leashed to a backpack. DIMENSIONS: 5 x 4.8 x 5.1. The GSI Outdoors Bugaboo cups easily nestles in the boiler as well.
