This carefully crafted and designed carry-on bag is one of the best out there.

For starters, WaterField Designs consulted frequent travelers to help it design the perfect bag; that’s how we got the Air Porter and Air Caddy bags.

I have to tell you that I love how lightweight these bags are. Often times, companies design beautiful briefcases, but then weigh them down with hefty zippers or metal brand plates with the company logo.

In addition to the lightweight, splash-proof zippers, there is a hidden magnetic closure that helps keep pickpockets one step behind.

It’s as if the manufacturer was reading peoples’ minds with so many unique aspects like the flap that attaches to the bag handle of your rollaboard and that it is narrow enough and short enough to stand upright underneath an airplane seat.

This means you can stow the bag underneath your seat and still have some space for your seats. The magnetic closures also secure themselves at two different points, which can be adjusted depending upon how full your bag might be.

The laptop sleeve is TSA friendly allowing you to leave your laptop inside the bag when scanning it because it opens completely flat.

The Air Caddy is super clever because it fits in the airplane seat pocket in front and includes all the items that you might need in flight.

There are two interior compartments to help you keep your things conveniently separated.

Outside pockets are perfect for storing umbrellas or water bottles for easy grabs while also having convenient zipper pockets to grab things like keys, coins, pens, etc.

Interior lining on the bag is water-resistant, which adds protection if you are zipping outside through the rain. The padded laptop sleeve even has small cut outs on the corners so that you can charge it while it is protected within the case. Simply brilliant!

The bag, which comes in various styles and sizes, can vary in price.

The beautiful Waxed Canvas or Black Ballistic bag with Air Caddy retail for $379 on the WaterField Designs website, but the solid price tag is a high mark of the bag’s durability and quality.
