Our Top Three Picks from Toad&Co for 2020

Oh boy did I have plans for these Toad&Co clothes! We were going to hike to water falls together, eat ice cream during a sunset and feed giraffes at lunch. However, like you, I am in my house, complying with the CDC recommendations for social distancing.

Sunkissed Maxi Dress

Wrap yourself up in the Sunkissed Maxi dress as you tour your own home. The fabric is called Eco Kohilo and is 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane. It is dreamy! This blend of recycled materials is soft, light and moves well when you walk. As for packability? The Sunkissed Maxi can be shoved into your bag and wont wrinkle!

For spring-time days and summer evenings the Sunkissed Maxi pairs perfectly with a light jacket. I have a favorite go-to jean jacket but while you are ordering your own Sunkissed Maxi, I suggest picking up the Woodsen Jacket from Toad&Co. At the time of this post the Woodsen Jacket is on sale!

I love that the Sunkissed Maxi is perfect for brunches, lunches and casual dinners. The Raisin Blanket print is ideal for a dress that can be worn just shy of year-round. The red and purples on this print would make for the perfect dress for those fall family photos you are planning. Need something a little more classic? The black Sunkissed Maxi is the lightweight LBD you are looking for.

Rover High Rise

Looking for a pair of shorts that are classy, comfortable and durable? The Rover High Rise short from Toad&Co is my recommendation to you. Again with the fabric! The Rover High Rise shorts are made from nylon, recycled nylon and elastane. This blend is buttery soft and ladies, the waistband is superb. As a cyclist and avid squatter, it is hard to find shorts that fit over the back end and sit on my waist. The Rover Hight Rise’s Flexform waistband fits comfortably around my waist. The fit of the Rover High Rise is so flattering. I can honestly recommend this to all body types. The Rover High Rise has an inseam of 5” and cuffed is a 3” inseam.

As a functional short, the Toad&Co Rover High Rise is moisture-wicking and substantial enough fabric to endure hikes, biking while looking stylish and put together. I wouldn’t be worried about getting these Rovers dirty! They can take it and bounce right back, ready for the next adventure.

The Rover High Rise comes in three different colors. I have Soot and love the richness of the gray. It can pair well with any color. Might I suggest a denim top? Beetle and Raisin are also available. I find they fit true to size.

Airbrush Button Tank

Airbrush Button Tank is next on our list of must haves from Toad&Co this year. A very lightweight tank, it is perfect for hot summer days where humidity is your worst enemy. I wish I had the Airbrush Button Tank when we were in Belize a couple years back. The Airbrush Button Tank is made from 100% Organic Cotton and hits just below the waist for me. The adjustable shoulder straps ensure you get the best fit you’re your body type. I have the Airbrush Button Tank in Dusty Citron and they color is bright and playful without looking too young. I feel like Joanna Gaines in it! Easily paired with shorts or pants, the Airbrush Button Tank is a go-to. If yellow isn’t your thing, it comes in four other prints that are equally as fashion forward.

Toad&Co has a beautiful line this season and these three pieces would be ideal for your capsule wardrobe. The quality of Toad&Co clothes will also ensure these pieces are with you for years to come. All pieces range from $50 to $95.

In 2018 alone, Toad&Co reduced their emission by 51 tons of CO2 by using organic cottons, recycled fibers and clean manufacturing on fabrics that have a low-impact on our Mother Earth. Plus, who can resist not purchasing quality clothing from a company whose motto is “Go sustainable or go nude”?!? Dress well knowing you are helping the environment and choosing sustainability.
