I love Lowa boots and shoes so much, I now have half a dozen pairs in my closet. They are, to date, the ONLY shoes that do not give me blisters when I hike long distances, in part, I think, because of their generally wide toe box and their snug heel support.
This week, I’m lucky enough to test out a lifestyle boot from Lowa, the Casara GTX. Not only is this boot stylish and comfortable, but the fuzzy Goretex lining also keeps you cozy during the cold winter months. I especially love the hidden side zipper, which allows me to easy slip these boots on and off without messing with the laces.
You get embossed split leather uppers and a sturdy lugged TPU outsole, and the boot is lightweight and easy to pack (I fit mine in a weekender bag with three outfits, a laptop, toiletries, and a hair dryer. Plus, these Lowas are waterproof, of course!
My only ‘wish’ would be for a less flat sole, so I paired my Casara boots with my favorite Icebug ‘fat’ insole. Pick up your pair of Casara boots for $185 in women’s sizes 6-11. Enjoy a long life of wear! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
