Lifestyle pieces for travel days: LOWA San Diego GTX and Art 4 All trucker hat

Sometimes, you just need to travel in style. Especially on a California road trip. Especially while visiting iconic locations like Yosemite and Santa Barbara and San Diego. Why not look good while packing practical gear?

Lowa San Diego GTX:

Available in both men’s and women’s versions, the San Diego was inspired by skate shoe designs, with sporty features that still utilizes LOWA’s innovative GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology and open sole constructive for 360 degrees of breathable comfort that’s still waterproof. Yes, waterproof. Plus, you get the featherweight TPU outsole that works to ensure you’re not carrying any unneeded ounces when you’re traveling light.

The upper is a split leather and Nubuck, and the lining is GORE-TEX. The weight is only 1.41 lbs per pair, so no worries about the luggage scale. The womens’ version comes in navy, burgundy, or anthracite in sizes 5.5 through 11 for $200. The men’s is the same price in sizes 7.5 through 14 in navy, stone or anthracite. Both do well dressed down or up, and are roomy enough to be comfy on air travel days. You’ll definitely eliminate at least one pair of shoes from your luggage with the San Diego, because they do double duty as both casual evening shoes and walking shoes.

Art 4 All trucker hat:

Who doesn’t love trucker hats? Now, who doesn’t love original art designs and supporting awesome artists? You get to sport a stylish trucker hat and support beautiful and creative art designs when you buy an Art 4 All trucker hat. Their artist series hats offer multiple designs in both truckers and beanies that display your love of nature and the outdoors. I chose the ‘pollinator‘ hat, because hey, pollination is important, and also, I have a small head and needed one of their youth/petite size options. I love that this is available, as it can be harder than one would think to find smaller sized trucker hats. This hat is $29.95 on the Art 4 All site, and the adult versions are the same price, with many additional design options.
