As someone who is constantly dealing with tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back, I have learned to deal with the pain. I am sure it comes from constantly hunching over a computer or squeezing myself into tight airplane seats to work or sleep. For me, I prefer not to pop pain killers as that doesn’t seem like a long-term solution.
Stretching and exercise are better alternatives, but it does not necessarily relieve the pain entirely. The Lather Muscle Ease Travel Trio Pack surprised me quite a bit. I really like how it comes with three 2 ounce packages that fit into TSA-approved travel pouches since I almost always travel with a carry-on bag.
The gel is an herbal formula using plant extracts originally discovered by tribes in northern Mexico to relieve tension in joins and muscles. You begin by massaging it into the skin, and it first I found the aroma to be strong (although quite fresh and minty).
I was worried that using this on a plane or in a meeting would be disturbing to others, but the scent quickly fades away as the tingling and cooling sensation begins on the skin.
It is not oily or sticky, and once you rub it into your skin, your hands and skin dry quickly while the cooling sensation remains in place. You can wash your hands after so that it does not tingle your fingers. I use it a few times a day, and it really helps.
Lather is known for its natural, botanical beauty and skin care products, and many people will appreciate the fair price and organic emphasis. The travel trio pack retails on the Lather website for $25 or on Amazon.
