I have been so in love with this long vest from INDYEDA that I almost sold all my coats. I have lived in this vest these last couple months.
You would think that I would have gotten a review out sooner, especially when I am so passionate about the KAPA long vest, but life has a way of getting away from you when you are out adventuring.

Before we get into the techy part of the construction, I want to discuss the fit. I have a tough time find jackets or vests that are small enough around my chest and waist and still fit around my hips. I have what some would call a “bubble butt”. The Kapa Vest has just enough give to hug my curves without being too loose or tight in the wrong places. The length is ideal as well. The 32″ drop allows for coverage of the assets while allowing you to move freely. Walking the dog, lounging on the deck partaking in apres skiing and even driving, the KAPA vest moves with my body.

With a fill power of 700in/3oz, the KAPA long vest is going to keep your core warm whether you are layering it under a jacket or throwing it over your favorite leggings for a walk through the snow. A 100% Nylon keeps the white duck down, 80% down 20% feathers secure inside. The outer layers are downproof and windproof. A 2-way zipper allows for customization of the fit for your chosen activity. Both the hand and storage pockets are secured with zippers.
The KAPA vest is extremely packable and can even double as a travel pillow with it’s incredibly soft fill. I would suggest this as the perfect accessory for cheering on kids at the sidelines, a light but warm layer for snowy walks and cross country skiing. It’s perfect to throw on after skiing and easy to store in the car on a long drive. Don’t forget to stuff it into your travel bag for those cold airplane trips.
