You have surely seen the commercials, but may not have taken the time to check the company out. It turns out that Dollar Shave Club is about way more than razors, which is part of the reason I never fully investigated since I typically use an electric razor.
The company has lots of travel products including face lotion, aftershave, and hair care products. Plus, you don’t have to join the club or commit to monthly products if you prefer to buy things a la carte.
The Dollar Shave Club Butter, Cream, and Traveler Bundle includes a sizeable toiletry bag with plenty of magnetic pockets and storage space. It also has TSA-approved toiletry products that are 3 ounces or less.
This kit comes with shave butter designed to help prevent ingrown hairs and fight razor bumps. The company jokingly references that many of its products were tested on interns and not on animals!
I really liked the post-shave cream, which is smooth and non-greasy. It is light and moisturizing. This kit retails for about $30 online.
Among other products are the infamous blades that made the company famous and accessories like pre-shave oil (which I found to work well even with an electric razor), daily face cleanser with citrus and Hawaiian ginger scent, hair conditioner, and shampoo.
The face cleanser comes in one of several bundles that the company offers. Like the Traveler Bundle, there are packaged prices for face cleanser that come with loofahs or face scrubs although any product can be purchased individually if desired.
Many of the products have natural ingredients and the nature-inspired scents that are not overpowering. That is especially important for me with things like aftershave or face lotion.
Another bonus is that the skin product line is sulfate-free, which helps to maintain the natural moisture of your skin.
The travel-sized products are a great way to test out new scents or items without committing to a full bottle. When you find something you like, you can go online and buy it.
