Dare2b menswear for summer days

Time to look ahead to some casual vacation clothing for summer that will not only look good, but will be active enough wear for anything your adventure throws at you.

Dare2b is my favorite brand that seams technical outdoor gear with casual wear, and two of their casual offerings this season double as hiking, SUP, kayaking and boating wear.

Dare2b men’s Tuned In Short:

My teens love these shorts, because they look nice enough for school and play but they can also don them for camping trips and SUP battles on the river. Why? The Tuned In Short is really lightweight and extremely quick-drying. You won’t find a hipper short for guys who like to play in the mountains and in the outdoors (Father Day gift alert!). The shorts are made from woven nylon fabric with elastane for full-motion stretch, and whether you get them wet kayaking or in a downpour, they’ll be dry in about 20 minutes.

The fit is straight (regular) without tucks or bunching. You get a shockcord waist for fine-tuned fit. Interactive loops to team with padded cycling layers. See? These shorts really can go anywhere and do anything. We love the multiple pockets; there’s a zipped one to secure your wallet or keys while being active. This is the pair of shorts you need for your next camping trip or rafting trip. Pick them up for around $30 (price varies by online retailer) in a variety of bright colors, including a rich (almost peacock) blue and a fun orange.

Dare2b Scenic Tee:

Everyone loves a graphic tee. Dare2b’s tee is a crew neck with short sleeves in quick-drying cotton (it’s a jersey blend). In the men’s, the fit is relaxed, but not boxy. The cotton blend is moisture-wicking, which means you can definitely pair the scenic tee with your new Tuned In Shorts for a day of hiking, lake swimming, or whatever summer brings your way. The graphic design is a layered mountain peak print that reminds me of Death Valley National Park. You can get it on a white background (more of a cream than a traditional white) with the mountains in earth tones or on a blue background with the mountains in shades of blue. Pick up either on the Dare2b website in traditional sizing.
