Craghoppers VentaLite II Jacket – A Quick Review

Craghoppers VentaLite II Jacket

This soft, pillowy jacket is the perfect accessory for business travelers looking for something that will give them warmth without carrying a larger wool jacket.

As a frequent business traveler, I appreciate that the Craghoppers Ventalite II Jacket is giving me: warmth without excessive weight or valuable space in my carryon bag.

The down and synthetic fill provides featherweight insulation, and its soft and durable enough that it can be curled up into a small ball in your briefcase. There are lots of cool features for the jacket including that it is water resistant and has four pockets (both outer and inner) for storing things.

The RFID-blocking technology in the pockets is quite the perk, and believe me, this is a nice benefit. Elastic hems on the arms add warmth and extra security.

I must admit that this is a wonderful jacket when outdoors, but inside it can be a bit warm for warm-blooded people like myself. Outside, it is thankfully windproof.

What I loved about the jacket is that it is so lightweight meaning it works as a light sweater (my other go-to travel item), but works better in rainy climates. The jacket can be stuffed into a tiny ball into your briefcase and pulled out later to wear in front of clients with nary a wrinkle. It might be better to roll it up inside out inside your suitcase.
