Costa has released their new large duffle bag, the Costa Seeker. It’s 75L of packable space ready for your next expedition. Costa is a well-known brand to me for their amazing sunglasses. I seriously can’t get enough of their sunglasses but this bag is so intriguing and I am excited to introduce you to it.

Working from the inside out of the Seeker Duffle, the inside is a freestyle packer’s dream! A cavernous interior is lined in a light blue color making small gear and clothing easier to see. Foldable inner dividers allow you to customize your space. Do you want one, two or three spaces dedicated to your gear? You are the master of this packing adventure. I haven’t seen this kind of organization without the use of packing cubes before so it is a nice change to those other bags that are deep dark holes.

Two mesh and one water resistant pocket line the lid and are generous enough for toiletries or undergarments. The water resistant pocket would be great for those last minute trips to the pool and your wet swimsuits. A smaller mesh pocket can be found in the main compartment. There is also a smaller, removable bag that is waterproof.

The Costa Seeker Duffle doesn’t have a seperate “dirty shoe/gear” expandable pocket that I am used to seeing in these larger duffles. You could create one with the foldable dividers, but the “ick” wouldn’t be contained.

Externally, there is one water resistant zippered pocket and 2 daisy chains for additional gear attachment. Grab handles are at either end for easy access out of planes, trains and automobiles. I feel that the top is well padded, but the back of the Seeker Duffle could use a layer or two more for gear protection.

The shoulder straps are padded and ventilated for travel use and can combine into one grab handle when the Seeker Duffle is not being used as a backpack.

Overall this a great bag for general travel. The Costa Seeker Duffle provides opportunities for transformation of it’s internal space so the user can create a bag that is perfect for their journey. The Seeker Duffle can be found on the Costa website and retails for $140. It comes in one color, “Deep”, this is saturated navy color. There are additional pieces in the Costa Seeker collection that would pair well with the Seeker Duffle. I suggest checking out the Sling Pack for small outings.
