Great travel packs are like gold. They’re the ones you’ll take on every trip, whether you’re headed to the city or an outdoors adventure.
They seem to have all the right compartments to carry your gear. They fit just as easily into the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
Add the Black Diamond Creek Transit 22 Pack to that list of great travel packs.
Made with 800d nylon and 1260d ballistic nylon, the pack’s fabric is sleek and waterproof, as well as able to take the tough knocks that come with travel.
The material is one of the things about this bag that’s inspired by Black Diamond’s haulbags. The bottom of the bag sits flat for easy packing, and there are a number of haul loops (two on the top and front, and one on the side, but you can also use the straps on the bottom, making the count rise), so you can snag the bag in a second.
The zippered-top lid is a great place to stash items that you need quick access to, and the internal zippered organizer pocked ensures that precious electronics don’t slide out and onto the ground when you open the lid.
The main compartment is where nearly everything else goes, and there’s an integrated sleeve where you can keep papers, folders, or magazines separate from your other stuff.
A padded compartment that you access by a zipper on the side of the pack has space for a 13-inch laptop, and there’s also a smaller, zippered side-access pocket nearby for things like money, cards, or even your phone (if you don’t keep them in the top lid).
Comfortable padded shoulder straps and backpanel allow you to tote this bag around for a while without getting tired. A webbing hipbelt can be removed if it gets in your way.
Reflective webbing is included on the front for added visibility when you’re out at night.
The Black Diamond Creek Transit 22 Pack comes in black and lists for $99.95.
