Blackstone Gas 17” Tabletop Griddle with Stainless Steel front plate

The Blackstone Gas 17” Tabletop Griddle is the perfect summer gift for those that like to spend time outdoors or entertain. It can be fired up at your house, while camping, on the beach, or even at corporate events you host on the road.

While it is not particularly lightweight, I did appreciate that it was easily portable and compact enough to fit in the trunk of your car while leaving room for plenty of other things. I know very little about grilling, but I learned that the burner, which is shaped as the letter H, helps the heat to distribute quite evenly across the griddle assuring that things are cooked evenly and well.

Unlike grills that have to be rolled out on wheels, this can fit on any table top or can be placed on the ground. If the surface is uneven, there are adjustable rubber stands that can be moved to balance the grill evenly. It can produce 12,000 BTUs of heat and has a built-in heat igniter although the propane bottle is not included. No matter what you’re cooking this griddle pools grease into a filter easily, which apparently is much improved from other models.

Because the service is quite sizeable, it can cook as many as nine hamburgers or pancakes, for example, at a time making it ideal for families or group events. It involves a simple wipe down to clean it with a grease cup that is emptied and washed. The recipe book that came with it was a nice bonus. This outdoor griddle retails for $100 on the Blackstone website among other retailers.
