Up Your Beach Game with Carve Designs Clothing for Women

Even if you think you have your summer clothing game handled, it’s always a great time to augment your warm-weather wardrobe when there’s plenty of product to be had and the puffy jackets of winter aren’t yet on display in stores. Besides, for travelers, there’s always a destination that has summery weather even when your home is surrounded by snow.

I’ve recently added a few clothing items from Carve Designs to my packing list: the Dylan Gauze Shirt, and a swimsuit comprised of the Catalina Top and Lorenzo Short.

The Dylan Gauze Shirt is one of the most comfortable tops I have for hot and humid weather. The three-button pullover shirt is 100-percent organic cotton, has a relaxed fit, and has a straight hem with side slits that make the top easy to wear as a regular top or even a swimsuit cover-up. Leave the long sleeves down when the airplane is cold, and roll them up with the adjustable tabs when you hit your humid destination. The open v-neck is comfortable without being too revealing, and two chest pockets are great to decoration or utility (best for room keys or cash/cards).

The Catalina Top is a sporty bikini top that’s great for looking good and also for staying on during water activities. The T-strap is ideal for support and stability, and the 82-percent nylon and 18-percent spandex material is UPF 50+. Carve Designs swim tops and bottoms are sold separately so you can choose the best coverage for you. I pair the Catalina Top with the Lorenzo Short for my water adventures. The full rear coverage, medium-high front rise, wide elastic waistband, and interior laser-cut brief are perfect for my surf safaris, paddle pursuits, and even just floating in the saltwater. A back zippered stash pocket is good for your (waterproof) keys and cards.

The Dylan Gauze Shirt comes in black, black stripe, dusk (dark blue), foam (off white), and mariposa shore (red/pink print) and lists for $52 on the Carve Designs site.

The Catalina Top comes in solid colors and prints (better to check on the site than rely on my descriptions): 1976, azul palms, batik floral, black, deco, mariposa shore, morgan, moss, shibori dots, strata stripe, vista, white palms, and winslow and lists for $48 on the Carve Designs site.

The Lorenzo Short comes in black, perla, deco, and mariposa shore and lists for $59 on the Carve Designs site.
