Aventura Clothing Organic Sleepwear, And Why You Need To Travel With It

Aventura Clothing Organic Sleepwear

It’s finally happened…Aventura Clothing, my favorite brand for organic, comfortable, and stylish travel wear, has gone into the slumber wear category.

What does this mean?

Incredibly comfortable, organic sleepwear for women who travel.

There’s a whole line of Aventura Clothing sleepwear to choose from, including shorts and long pants for the bottoms, and a night shirt (knee length), henley shirt, and short-sleeved shirt for the tops.

All pieces are organic cotton/bamboo blends with 5% spandex, which gives the sleepwear just the right amount of stretch.

If you’ve never worn organic cotton against your skin, you really need to try it, because it’s simply the softest, smoothest forgivable fabric you can wear, especially at night.

I tried out the Slumber Henley and Polka Dot pant combination (all the pieces are mix and match, so you can design your own perfect sleepwear ensemble).

When I travel and at home, I most often need warm sleepwear, as I travel to all types of climates, so this combination worked best for me.

As noted above, the Slumber Henly and the Polka Dot pant are 67% viscose from bamboo, 28% organic cotton, and 5% spandex. You get a 29″ inseam in the pant, and a wide contrasting drawstring waistband.

I love a wide waistband for comfort, so it makes perfect sense to feature that in a sleepwear collection.

This sleepwear is cute, too, though, with all the little details you’d expect from Aventura. The pants have a crochet trim at the leg openings at the bottom, and the Henley top has buttons and detail work.

The polka dot pattern is fun and cheery, and can be found in all the sleepwear styles, in addition to two other pattern/color combinations: medallion (which comes in estate blue and biking red) and sheep (a counting sheep pattern that comes in light blue).

For the polka dot pattern, you choose between tandoori spice (a red palate) and castlerock (Aventura’s blue/gray color combination).

And I saved the best part for last: the pants and shorts come with side pockets!

I know it may seem silly to get so excited over this, but when is the last time you’ve seen pockets in women’s pajama pants?

It’s so convenient to have them, and I am so impressed that Aventura thought of it.

The Aventura Henley top is $42 on the site, and the long bottoms are $49. The night shirt is $47, a great value, and the tee is $34 and the shorts $37.

Check Amazon for deals, but most often, the price is similar. And remember, when you purchase from Aventura, you also support Uncommon Threads, a “boutique” style clothing program where survivors of domestic violence and women in need receive styling services and new clothes.

As part of the partnership, Aventura donates new clothing quarterly to this unique boutique.
