GoLite is one of my favorite men’s activewear brands and I love when they send me their latest products to test. This year they were kind enough to send me the ReBound Jogger and ReActive Boxers. I love how GoLite products look and fit but it’s their amazing commitment to environmentally friendly low energy production materials and processes.
The GoLite joggers are made from recycled plastic bottles, have moisture-wicking, breath better than any jogger I have tested and have built-in reflective safety measures. The fabric they use contains the material from over 20 recycled bottles and unlike most recycled fabric actually performs better than cotton blends. I found it’s highly stained resistant in my unofficial test (I spilled a glass of red wine on myself) as well as comfortable on long flights.
I wore the ReBounds to a small marketing conference this last week. After a 6-hour plane flight, the ReBounds still looked great and I had 2 different guys ask me what brand they were. Both of them ordered them on the spot after I told them the story behind them as well as how comfortable they had been on the trip.
This same trip I tried out the ReActive Boxer Briefs. I should say that I really don’t use most brief style underwear as I have thick legs that make most boxer briefs uncomfortable after just a few hours. The ReActive briefs surprised me by being much better fitting than normal and I frankly forgot I was wearing them (which I think of as the entire point of underwear).
The ReActives have the same recycled plastic bottle fibers with a spandex blend that fit and breathe great. I also appreciate the anti-odor and quick drying fabric.
Golite ReActive Trunks and ReBound Joggers can be purchased on their website or on Amazon.com. The ReActive Trunks retail for $28.00 and the Golite ReBound Joggers retail for $120.00.
