Timberland Women’s Beckwith Side Zip Chelsea
There aren’t words to describe the amount of love I have for Timberland’s side zip Chelsea booties. The leather is rich and soft allowing for adequate coverage over one’s ankle.
The side zip entry into the boot makes it easy to wear socks and slip comfortably in to the shoe which is lined with a 50% recycled PET mesh lining.
The lining is both comfortable and environmentally conscious. Timberland always seems be at the forefront of urban design and functionality. Whether I am traveling through multiple airports or meeting friends for a night on the LA dinner and drink scene, these Timberland Beckwith Side Zip Chelsea booties are along for the ride.
Timberland has outfitted these beautiful booties with a Gripstick outsole. Gripstick has proven to be the stickiest recycled rubber sole to date. I have worn it through dry city streets and on very treacherous snow covered walkways.
Never once did I wish I had brought different shoes. Well, that is taking it a bit far… When the snow was 14”, I wished I had brought higher winter boots to combat the depth. I guess that would be my one qualm with Timberland and their Chelsea Side Zip booties. There isn’t a taller model.
The Shaft height of the Timberland Chelsea is 3.5”. This allows for one to roll their pant legs up and have the cuff sit just above the bootie for a stylish look. Or, one can wear wide legged pants and cover the bootie, exposing only the rounded toe design.
The Timberland Chelsea Side Zip shoe fits true to size and does not require an extensive stretching or ‘breaking in’ period. They are perfectly comfortable right out of the box. If you have a wider foot, I suggest you order a half size up from your normal shoe size.
The leather is a beautiful rich brown with a gold tone zip to easily blend in. The style is most definitely effortless and cool. They complement almost every outfit from jeans to skirts and trousers.
I would recommend these booties to anyone in the Pacific northwest as well. No matter the level of wet in the forecast these little booties will ensure a dry foot bed and a stylish entrance into any meeting, lunch or cocktail hour!

Timberland Mens Britton Hill
Let me tell you up front that I am not much of nice-boot guy. I have hiking boots and winter boots but nothing that looks good dressed up with slacks or jeans. When I I had the opportunity to try the Timberland Britton Hill this season my footwear world changed completely.
These are simply the nicest looking, comfortable leather boots I have ever had the pleasure of wearing.
You can see from the photo that these are gorgeous boots. Given this is Timberland, the leather is stunning and just looks better the more I wear them. The boots are water resistant with a great tread pattern that did surprisingly well this winter in slippery conditions.
I will say that it took a few days of wearing them for the high (xx””) upper to soften and get comfortable and they do take a bit to get into. However, the SensorFlex sole is really comfortable. I wore them to an all-day trade show and never felt like I was wearing full sized boots.
I can’t recommend the Britton Hill enough You can find them at Amazon for
