I’ve been a fan of Horny Toad clothing for years. It’s certainly a popular brand among women (and men) who live an active, casual lifestyle in Colorado. Quality-made clothing is stylish and comfortable, and all the pieces I have (mostly long-sleeve shirts) fit extremely well. My latest love: the Women’s Chaka Dress and Ruhmba Wrap. These are two items that are extremely versatile and ideal for travel.
The Chaka Dress is made of this awesome jersey Tencel (an artificial fiber made from wood-pulp cellulose), organic cotton and spandex mix. I can tell that wear after wear, the dress won’t lose its shape. The material hugs in just the right places and makes for a flattering fit over the hips and butt. The high waist has ruching, which is naturally slenderizing, and the crossover bodice does wonders for the bust. Truly, this is one dress that absolutely accentuates the feminine form (i.e. I look damn good in it).
I layered the Chaka Dress with leggings, a sweater and the Rhumba Wrap for a recent flight from chilly Colorado to balmy Hawaii; then I had the dress on hand to wear alone with flip flops while sightseeing on the tropical island. With cardigan sweaters or jackets, this dress can be worn in the spring, summer and fall. I have the Chaka Dress in medium, and it hangs to just above my knees (38-inch length). The dress comes in four different colors (yellow, blue, black and pink – but with fancy hue names) and retails for $76 on the Horny Toad website.
The Rumba Wrap is a great complement to the Chaka Dress. It’s a huge scarf made of a wonderful combination of silky Tencel and linen, and because the edges are finished in subtle stitching, there’s no “front” or “back.” It can be worn over the shoulders on a cold plane (doubling as a pillow, as needed) or in an air-conditioned restaurant. The large rectangular shape is 28 inches by 78 inches, and can also be wrapped and tucked around the waist as a beach cover up.
The Rhumba Wrap retails for $44 on the Horny Toad website. I really like browsing the Horny Toad sale items on Amazon.com — great deals!

I din’t know that Rhumba Wrap is a kind of scarf. From what you are describing looks like the chaka dress along with the Rhumba Wrap would be good combination. But frankly I’ve never used Horny Toad. I’m going to shop around for this dress combination.
